International Students

Wolkite University is committed to attracting world-class educators and fostering an international academic environment. Currently, the university hosts approximately 57 international students, including 50 from South Sudan and 7 from Somaliland. The majority of these students are enrolled as full-time candidates pursuing their BSc or BA degrees. While this figure represents a small proportion compared to the overall Ethiopian student population, the university is experiencing rapid growth. The demand for international students continues to rise as internationalization remains a core strategic priority. Offering all academic programs in English provides a significant advantage by eliminating language barriers and promoting seamless communication between local and international faculty and students.
