               Biography:

         The instructor Bewuket Gashaw was born in December 30, 1985 G.C.  He joined Jimma University in 2005 and graduated with a BSc. degree in Horticulture in 2007. Upon graduation, he was employed by Bibugn District Agriculture Office, Eastern Gojam, under Amhara National Regional State Bureau of Agriculture as a vegetable and fruit crops production expert from October 2008 to April 2009. In May 2009, he was employed by Mertule Mariam ATVET College, Eastern Gojam as Junior Instructor. During his work, he served the college at different levels until he joined Haramaya University Postgraduate Program in 2013 to pursue a study leading to the degree of Master of Science in Agriculture (Agronomy). He then graduated his Master study in 2016. Up on graduating his MSc. he was served as Academic Vice Dean of Bichena TVET College which is found in Eastern Gojam until he joined Wolkite University in August, 2017.

Agriculture which is a back bone for our economy needs to be improved to sustaining agriculture in our country. Farmers are still using the same agricultural practice long time.  In this perspective, am gratefully motivated to partly involved in improving the agriculture sector particularly in improving agronomical practices of crops.
