                          Biography 

    My name is Yiblet Dagnachew. I was born in December 1991 from my father Dagnachew Gizaw and My mother Tigist G/Yes in Yashura and Yewarbiya Kebele, Edga Woreda, Gurage zone, Ethiopia. I secured my BSC from Arbaminch University while I took my MSC degree from a joint program delivered between Addis Ababa and Bahir Dar University in collaboration with Ethiopian institute of agricultural research in 2017.

Wetlands

Researches related with the role of wetland to the ecosystem, cause of wetland degradation, consequences of wetland degradation on the ecosystem and management option to tackle their degradation are my core areas of interest.

Aquatic biodiversity

It is also my great interest to conduct research on human induced factors that affect water resources of the country which in turn have adverse impact on the biodiversity that is supported by the system.

Aquaculture

I am pleased to conduct researches on aquatic organisms particularly on fishes which have tremendous potential in captivity and thereby provide opportunity to ensure food security.
