ሁለተኛው ዓለም አቀፍ የምርምር ኮንፍረንስ በስኬት ተጠናቀቀ

በጥንካሬ በመቋቋም ወደ ዘላቂ ዕድገት ለመሻገር የሚረዱ መዋቅራዊ የለውጥ መንገዶች በሚል መሪ ሃሳብ የተዘጋጀው ኮንፍረንስ በስኬት ተጠናቋል፡፡
በኮንፍረንሱ የዩኒቨርሲቲችን የምርምር እና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ምክትል ፕሬዚዳንት ዶ/ር ዮሐንስ ገብሩ የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል፡፡
ምክትል ፕሬዚዳንቱ በመልዕክታቸው ከዚህ ኮንፍረንስ የሚገኙ የምርምር ሃሳቦች ለከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት ግብዓት መሆን እንደሚችሉ አመላክተዋል፡፡
የዩኒቨርሲቲችን ፕሬዚደንት ዶ/ር አብድልሙህሲን ሀሰን በበኮንፍረንሱ መከፈቻ የሃገርን ኢኮኖሚን ወደ ሚጨበጥ ተግባር መቀየር፤ የምርምር ውጤቶች የፖሊሲ ግበዓት መሆን የሚችሉ መነሻዎች ይህንን ከመሰሉ የምርምር ኮንፍረንሶች የሚጠበቁ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል፡፡
በኮንፍረንሱ የማዕከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የፖሊሲ እና ጥናት ኢንሰቲቲዩት ዋና ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር አክመል መሐመድ ተገኝትዋል።
በኮንፍረንሱ ፕሮፌሰር ጣሰው ወልደሃና ቁልፍ ንግግር ያደረጉ ሲሆን በንግግራችው
ሁሉ አቀፍ ዘላቂ ልማት በረጅሙ መስራት የሚፈልግ መሆኑን ጠቅሰዋል።
ይህንን እውን በማድረግ ሂደት የፋይናንስ እና የአገልግሎት ሰጪ ተቋማት የአገልግሎት አሰጣጥ ስርዓትን ዲጂታላይዝ በማደርግ ፈጣን ዕድገት ማምጣት ቁልፍ ጉዳይ መሆኑን አመላከተዋል፡፡
ይህንን እውን ለማድረግ የማህበራዊ ዘርፉ የማይተካ ሚና ያለው በመሆኑ ከከፍትኛ የትምህርት ተቋማት ብዙ እንደሚጠበቅም ጥቁመዋል፡፡
አረንጓዴ መሠረተ ልማት ለከተሞች ዕድገት የሚኖረውን ሚና በማስመልከት የፖላንድ ሃገርን ልምድ የሚያሳይ ጥናታዊ ጽሑፍ በፕ/ር በከሪሰቶቭ ሮጋትካ ቀርበዋል።
የዩኒቨርሲቲያችን መምህር የሆኑት ዶ/ር አዲስአለም መብራቱ የእንሰትን ምርታማነት ማሳደግ እና እንሰት የተለዋዋጭ ከአየር ንብረት የሚያሳየው የማየዋዥቅ ባህሪ፣ ድርቅን የመቋቋም ችሎታው በመሪ የጥናት ጽሑፋቸው ዳሰዋል፡፡
በተጨማሪም እንሰት ለምግብነት በሚዘጋጅበት ወቅት በቴክኖሎጂ እንዲደገፍ መክረ ሃሳብ አቅርበዋል፡፡ የቁልፍ ንግግር እና የመሪ ጥናታዊ ጽሑፎችን መነሻ ያደረገ ውይይትም በአካዳሚክ ጉዳዩች ም/ፕሬዚዳንት ዶ/ር ሀብቴ ዱላ ተመርተዋል፡፡
በዚህ ሁለተኛው ዓለም አቀፍ የምርምር ኮንፍረንስ በድምሩ 19 ጥናታዊ ጽሑፎች ቀርበዋል፡፡ ከእነዚህ ውስጥ 12ቱ ከኢትዮጵያ ሲሆኑ ቀሪዎቹ ከአምስት የዓለም ሃገራት ተመራማሪዎች የቀረቡ ናችው፡፡
ዶክተር አብዱልሙህሲን ሃሰን በኮንፍረንሱ ማጠቃለያ ከዘንድሮው ስራዎቻችን ተምረን ለቀጣዩ ሶስተኛው ዓለም አቀፍ ኮንፍረንስ ዘመኑ በሚፈልገው አኳኋን ዲጂታላይዝ አድርጎ መስራት ላይ ማተኮር እንደሚገባ አስገንዝበዋል።
አያይዘውም በቀጣይ ከኢንዱስትሪ ጋር መስተሳሰር የሚችሉ እና ኢንዱስትሪዎችን የሚያሳትፉ ጥናታዊ ስራዎች ትኩረት እንደሚደረግባቸው ጠቁመዋል። አካባቢያዊ ጉዳዮችም ዓለም አቀፋዊ ዕውቅና እንዲያገኙ በትጋት እንደሚሰራ አመላክተዋል።
ዶክተር ዮሐንስ ገብሩ ለኮንፍረንሱ ስኬታማነት የተጉትን በማመስገን ከተሳታፊዎች የቀረቡ ሃሳቦች ለቀጣዩ ኮንፍረንስ የዝግጅት ግብዓት ተደርጎ እንደሚወሰድ ጠቁመዋል። በመጨረሻም ጣናታዊ ሑፎች ላቀረቡ ተመራማሪዎች የዕውቅና መርሃ ገብር ተካሂዶ ኮንፍረንሱ መቋጫውን አግኝቷል፡፡

The Second International Research Conference carried out successfully
The conference, organized under the theme conference on the Grand Theme: “Pathways to Sustainable Prosperity: Structural Transformation, Human Capital, and Resilience”," has successfully concluded.
🔹 Welcome Address and Opening Remarks
• Dr. Yohannes Gebru, Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer at Wolkite University, delivered the welcoming address. In his message, he highlighted that the research insights generated from this conference will serve as valuable inputs for higher education institutions.
• Dr. Abdulmuhsin Hassan, President of Wolkite University, stated during the opening session that transforming the national economy into tangible action and establishing foundations for research outcomes to serve as policy inputs are exactly what is expected from such high-level research platforms.
The event was also attended by Dr. Akmel Mohammed, Director General of the Central Ethiopia Region Policy and Studies Institute.
🔹 Keynote Speeches and Research Highlights
• Prof. Tassew Woldehanna delivered the keynote address, emphasizing that achieving comprehensive sustainable development requires long-term commitment. He noted that digitalizing the service delivery systems of financial and service sector institutions is a critical driver for rapid growth.
Furthermore, he pointed out that since the social sector plays an irreplaceable role in realizing this, much is expected from higher education institutions.
• Prof. Krzysztof Rogatka presented a research paper showcasing Poland's experience regarding the pivotal role of green infrastructure in urban development.
• Dr. Addisalem Mebratu, a lecturer at Wolkite University, presented a lead research paper focusing on enhancing the productivity of Enset, exploring its resilience to climate variability, and its drought-resistant nature. He recommended supporting the traditional processing of Enset with modern technology.
The discussions stemming from the keynote and lead papers were moderated by Dr. Habte Dula, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
🔹 Conference Participation in Numbers
A total of 19 research papers were presented at this Second International Research Conference:
• 12 papers were submitted by Ethiopian researchers.
• 7 papers were presented by international researchers representing five different countries.
🔹 Future Outlook and Closing
In his closing remarks, Dr. Abdulmuhsin Hassan emphasized the need to build upon this year's achievements for the upcoming Third International Conference, focusing on digitalizing operations to meet modern global standards.
He added that future research will focus heavily on creating industrial linkages, engaging industry stakeholders, and working diligently to bring local issues to international recognition.
Finally, Dr. Yohannes Gebru expressed his gratitude to everyone who worked tirelessly for the success of the event; the feedback raised by participants would be used to plan the next conference. The event concluded with an awards and recognition ceremony for the participating researchers.
