ወልቂጤ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በ17ኛው ዙር ያሰለጠናቸውን ተማሪዎች አስመረቀ

ወልቂጤ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በተለያዩ የትምህርት መስኮች በመደበኛና በተከታታይ የትምህርት መርሃ-ግብሮች በመጀመሪያና በሁለተኛ ዲግሪ ያሰለጠናቸውን 363 ተማሪዎች ዛሬ በድምቀት አስመርቋል።
በዩኒቨርሲቲው «ቃቄ ውርድወት» መታሰቢያ አዳራሽ በተካሄደው የዚሁ የምረቃ ሥነ-ሥርዓት ላይ የኢፌዲሪ ጉምሩክ ኮሚሽን ኮሚሽነርና የዩኒቨርሲቲው ሥራ አመራር ቦርድ ሰብሳቢ ዶ/ር ደበሌ ቃበታን ጨምሮ ጥሪ የተደረገላቸው የክብር እንግዶች ተገኝተዋል። 
በሥነ-ሥርዓቱ ላይ ንግግር ያደረጉት ኮሚሽነር ዶ/ር ደበሌ ቃበታ፣ የሀገራት ሁለንተናዊ ዕድገትና የወደፊት ዕጣ ፈንታ የሚወሰነው በትምህርት ጥራትና በተግባራዊ ዕውቀት ላይ በሚደረግ ጥረት መሆኑን ገልጸዋል። 
ኢትዮጵያ በአሁኑ ወቅት ሁሉን አቀፍ ዕድገትን ለማስመዝገብና ከቀሪው ዓለም ጋር እኩል ለመሰለፍ፣ ቴክኖሎጂን የመፍጠር አቅም ያለው ትውልድ መገንባት ወሳኝ መሆኑንም ኮሚሽነሩ አጽንኦት ሰጥተውበታል። 
አያይዘውም ዩኒቨርሲቲው ከፍተኛ የትምህርት ሪፎርም ትግበራ ውጤታማነት ማሳያ የሆነውንና በዘንድሮው ዓመት የተመዘገበውን የ92.5% የመውጫ ፈተና ማለፊያ ውጤት አድንቀዋል። 
ይህ አበረታች ውጤት በቀጣይም ተጠናክሮ እንዲቀጥል የጠበቀ የአደራ መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል። 
የወልቂጤ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዚዳንት ዶ/ር አብዱልሙህሲን ሃሰን በበኩላቸው፤ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ከተጀመሩት የትምህርት ጥራት ማሻሻያ ሪፎርሞች ጋር ራሱን በማናበብ፣ በከፍተኛ ትምህርት መውጫ ፈተና ላይ በየዓመቱ አርአያነት ያለው ዕድገት እያስመዘገበ እንደሚገኝ ገልጸዋል። 
በዚሁ መሠረት በ2018  የትምህርት ዘመን 92.5% ከፍተኛ የውጤት ማለፊያ ምጣኔ ማስመዝገብ መቻሉን ይፋ አድርገዋል።
በዕለቱ ከፍተኛ ውጤት ላስመዘገቡ ተማሪዎች የዕውቅናና የሽልማት ሥነ-ሥርዓት የተከናወነ ሲሆን፦ 
ከሶፍትዌር ኢንጂነሪንግ የትምህርት ክፍል ከፍተኛ ውጤት ያስመዘገበው ተማሪ ባስሌል ጌቱ 3።9 በማስመዝገብ የዋንጫ እና የሜዳሊያ ተሸላሚ ሆኗል። 
በተጨማሪም ተማሪ ቢላል አህመድ ኡመር (ከጋርመንት ትምህርት ክፍል)፣ ተማሪ ኤፍሬም ኃይለማርያም (ከሕግ ትምህርት ቤት)፣ ተማሪ ማረፊያ አድማሱ (ከኅብረተሰብ ጤና ትምህርት ክፍል) እና ተማሪ ናርዶስ ሳህሉ (ከማኔጅመንት ትምህርት ክፍል) የሜዳሊያ ተሸላሚ መሆን ችለዋል። 
በምረቃ ሥነ ሥርዓቱ የወልቂጤ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ስራ አመራር ቦርድ ስብሳቢ እና የእለቱ የክብር እንግዳ ኮሚሽነር ዶ/ር ደበሌ ቃበታ፣ የዩኒቨርሲቲያችን ስራ አመራር ቦርድ ም/ሰብሳቢ ፕሮፌሰር ጌትነት ታደል፣ ዩኒቨርሲቲያችን ፕሬዝዳንት ዶ/ር አብደልሙህሲንን ጨምሮ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ከፍተኛ አመራሮች፣የወልቂጤ ከተማ ከንቲባ ክቡር አቶ ሙራድ ከድር፣ በትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የሪፎርም ስራዎች ስራ አስፈጻሚ ዶ/ር ከበደ ግዛው፣ የሴኔት እና ካውንስል አባላት፣ ተመራቂ ተማሪዎች እና የተመራቂ ተማሪ ወላጆች የምርቃት ሥነ ሥርዓቱን ታድመዋል።

Wolkite University Graduates Students in its 17th round Ceremony

Wolkite University colorfully celebrated its 17th commencement today, graduating 363 students who successfully completed their undergraduate and postgraduate studies across various disciplines in both regular and continuing education programs.
The graduation ceremony, hosted at the University’s landmark "YeKake Werdewot" Memorial Hall, was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Debele Kabeta, Commissioner of the Ethiopian Customs Commission and Chairperson of the University’s Governing Board. 
Addressing the congregation, Commissioner Dr. Debele Kabeta emphasized that a nation’s holistic development and future destiny are fundamentally anchored in the quality of education and the pursuit of practical knowledge. 
He stressed that for Ethiopia to achieve comprehensive growth and compete effectively on the global stage, fostering a generation capable of technological innovation is of paramount importance. 
Furthermore, the Commissioner commended the University's remarkable achievement in the national exit examination, where students secured an impressive 92.5% passing rate this academic year—a testament to the successful implementation of higher education reforms. 
He concluded his speech by entrusting the University community with the responsibility of sustaining and building upon this encouraging milestone. 
In his remarks, the President of Wolkite University, Dr. Abdelmuhsin Hassen, highlighted that the institution has strategically aligned itself with the educational quality enhancement reforms initiated by the Ministry of Education. 
This alignment has resulted in a progressive, exemplary increase in exit exam passing rates year after year, culminating in the outstanding 92.5% success rate recorded for the 2025/2026 academic year. 
Recognition and Awards 
The ceremony also featured a special segment dedicated to honoring academic excellence, where top-performing graduates received trophies and medals: 
Basiel Getu (Software Engineering): Graduated with a stellar Cumulative GPA of 3.9, earning both a trophy and a medal as the top scorer. 
Bilal Ahmed Umar (Garment Engineering) – Medal Recipient 
Efrem Hailemariam (School of Law) – Medal Recipient 
Marefiya Admasu (Public Health) – Medal Recipient 
Nardos Sahlu (Management) – Medal Recipient 
The prestigious event is being attended by high-ranking University officials, Dr. Kebde Gezaw, MoE, Reform issues Executive, Mayor of Wolkite Town Honorable Mr. Murad Keder, members of the Senate and Council, graduating students, and their families. 
Among the distinguished guests present are Commissioer Debele Kabeta (Ph.D.), Board Chairperson of Wolkite University and Guest of Honor for the day; Professor Getnet Tadel, Deputy Board Chairperson; and Dr. Abdelmuhsin Hassen, WKU President.
