The training was organized by Wolkite University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in collaboration with synergy, PLC. The main purpose of the training was to deliver technical training for the concerned professionals in order to enable them to be competent enough especially in operating the newly purchased Electrical and Computer Engineering Lab equipment. Besides, the training was also very important to enhance the trainees overall capacity. Moreover, the training as well supports the participants to gain adequate knowledge and insights into the latest operational techniques of the newly purchased equipment’s. Furthermore, through conducting this training, the trainees shall get standardized operational procedures for regulating everyday management of the lab equipment. The training correspondingly enables the participants to create consistent and sustainable manner to ensure a safe working environment and proper management of the laboratory equipment. The participants were gathered from different Ethiopian Universities & Polytechnic Colleges. Such types of need-based training are very significant for capacitating the performers’ technical skills and at the same time in assisting them in their different practical operational sessions.
A Workshop on curriculum design, multiculturalism and professionalism in Higher Education was held today. The workshop is organized by Education & Behavioral Science College in collaboration with academic affairs directorate. The workshop engages participants (instructors) from all college.
