Mr. Mihretab Mekonnen Beyene earned LL.M. (Master of Laws) Degree from the School of Law of Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 2011. He specialized in Human Rights Law. Mr. Mihretab has also earned LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) Degree with Distinction from Hawassa University Law Faculty, Hawassa, Ethiopia, in 2007, after a 5 year study of law. Mr.Mihretab is currently serving as instructor, researchers and wolkite University School of Law Research and Community Service Coordinator. Earlier (2011-2015), Mr Mihretab was an employee of Mizan-Tepi University, Mizan Teferi, Ethiopia, where he served as an instructor, researcher, and practitioner of law and legal affairs director of the University. Mihretab has also has served as a legal advisor, public prosecutor and trainer of law at various governmental institutions, as well as a self-employed Consultant and Attorney-at-Law since October 2012. In these capacities, Mr. Mihretab has performed social works, and provided legal advice, human rights advocacy, education, and training for the benefit of vulnerable groups and other members of the community. Mr. Mihretab’s research interest areas are mainly on Human rights protection. His research interest area also includes ethnic conflict management, federalism, constitutional laws and migration issues.
