        Biography

I was born and grew up in Bodity Town, Wolaita Zonal State. At the age of five, I had been enrolled for first grade at Bodity Primary and Secondary School. My childhood was very joyful and I really miss that time still today. I was one of the top class students of my batch in our school. In 2005 I have completed my primary education with sixth highest average and percentile of the then grading system out of the students admitted for exam in our school. Subsequently, I admitted to secondary cycle education at Bodity secondary and preparatory school in the year 2006. A year later, I have attended 10th grade to take Ethiopian General School Leaving Examination to qualify for preparatory education. I worked hard to score outstanding grade andwas successful in scoring 3.0/4.0, whichfinally qualified me to join preparatory education at the same school where I attended the secondary education.

In the year 2007, I have joined stream of social science, although it was not my priority choice. However, day after day, new lookout has been developed in my mind that made me to love the science of environment and geographical earth. One year later, I have taken University entrance exam and successfully attained the requirements to join university. In the year 2009, ministry of education placed me to Dire Dawa University and I was placed to department of Geography and Environmental Studies. Finally, in the year 2011, I have successfully completed the bachelor program and graduated with Great Distinction for scoring (3.92/4.0).

Meanwhile, I won scholarship offered by Ethiopian ministry of education to attend the Master’s Degree program in Land and Water Resource Management in Adama Science and Technology University. I have enrolled for the program in September 2012 and successfully completed the program in 2013. After graduation, the ministry of Education placed me to Debre Markos University as a Lecturer. Natural Resource Management was the first university that fits with my educational qualification. During my stay at the university, I have conducted two major researches with more than four community service projects and was successful in achieving 75% of the goals. I served Debre Markos University for three consecutive years and finally transferred to Wolkite University in the year 2016. Now I am serving as lecturer under department of Natural Resource Management.
