Biography:

I have completed my education levels from Boole elementary school (1988-1994 E.C), Ada'a Model high school (1995-1996 E.C) and Bishoftu preparatory school (1997-1998 E.C).  Then I joined Bahir-Dar University in 1999 E.C for first degree program and graduated in 2001 with Biology in education degree (BEd.) (1999-2001 E.C.) and then got MSc. degree in Zoological Science from Mekelle University (2002-2003 E.C). Since 2004 E.C, I have been working in Wolkite University, department of biology as instructor.

1.      Tropical neglected parasitological

Current status of topical neglected parasites, prevention and eradication mechanism, host-parasite association, treatment mechanisms, vaccine development, vector control

2.      Biodiversity

Varieties of lives focusing on animal diversity, distribution, abundance, identifying threats of biological diversity

3.      Conservation biology, wildlife management and eco-tourism

Importance of conservation and management system of animals in relation to other organisms, role of local community in conserving biological diversity, effective wildlife management strategies, relationship between wildlife and eco-tourism

4.      Pest management

Identifying major pests, their impacts, effective control mechanisms, adopting indigenous pest management practices for maintaining food security
